Good, fierce campaigning is the key to success in elections and we are now entering into the final battle of the most important elections in Pakistan. Not only the country is very fragile in terms of security and economic situation, it is also looking at another 5 years of bleak future and muk-mukka politics if the status quo parties come into power again. It’s a do or die situation for Pakistan because of internal and external threats against its existence.
PTI promises Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem and it’s high time we take our vision to the masses. Now this is not an easy task since we have a few problems on our hands.
1. Inadequate media coverage of PTI party activities and events.
2. Big money being rolled out to buy candidates and jorh-torh politics.
3. Communication gap between leadership and on-ground supporters/workers.
In order to address these issues, we, the PTI supporters on social media, have devised a strategy that will help in the election campaign on ground. The idea is simple:

For this purpose, “PTI News” (code name #ProjectAlphaPTI) is being launched which is essentially a twitter-to-SMS service that would update people with PTI news and happenings via twitter account @PTINewsPK. This service has a one-time subscription cost of Rs. 1 + tax and then it is free. Anyone interested in PTI can subscribe to PTINewsPK by sending an sms to 40404 with the following text*

Since Pakistan has about 12 crore mobile users (as per Nov 2012), this is a huge medium that can be used to spread PTI updates among people who do not use social media. This service is also available for overseas Pakistani mobile users. In this way, not only PTI can be promoted and Imran Khan’s message can be spread to the masses but also anti-PTI propaganda can be countered effectively and much faster than the official press releases. This will also help to boost morale of PTI supporters and make them feel as a part of the election campaign.
So, if you are a PTI supporter, worker or a potential PTI voter, help us spread PTI’s message by subscribing to this service and also convince your family and friends to do the same. This service is specially for the people who are not on twitter or facebook or don’t know how to use internet. We need each and everyone of you to spread this message and subscribe people to the service.
