Its been 1-Year 4-Months and 10-Days to the mesmerizing Jalsa of famous 30th October 2010. Same people, same passion and the same goal this time it was not the Heart of Pakistan “Lahore”, but the Final Frontier of Pakistan “Peshawar” (The Land of Ghairatmand Musalman as narrated by the Khan e Azam).
As promised by my Leader and like every single individual who dream for a “Naya Pakistan” I decided to join the mammoth yet passionate gathering of thousands of Pakistanis who decided to follow their Leader.
The passion for the Jalsa on 10th March was exemplary and when I decided to be the part of “Change” surprisingly I found quite a support. Though when I left for for Peshawar I was alone yet I found hundreds of others during my journey to Peshawar. Even before reaching there number of my companions reached to hundreds and when I left Attock the number was even bigger.
Youth was in great numbers followed by the women from all over KPK and even some arrived from Islamabad. Majority of the people were from FATA the most affected war hit area. They believe that only Imran Khan can save them from the DRONE and can bring Peace back to their Land. They also believe in the Honesty and bravery of the Great Khan. Participation from all quarters of life was immense.
Shabbir Afridi from Bajur currently living in Peshawar told me that he left his native town because his family was not save there and they always had a fear of being a target of a Drone or from some attack from Afghan/NATO army. An old man namely Nazar Muhammad was enthusiastic about the Intra Party Elections he won from a Union Coucnil of Lower Dir.
Every single person who was present at the Jalsa don’t have the remotest of the doubts that whatever Imran Khan is saying, he can not fulfill his promises. People become alive when the arrival of main stream leaders of the party started. Makhdoom Javed Hashmi was welcomed with “Baghi” “Baghi” and youth was cheerful to see Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Imran Khan. Morale of the people was sky high when they all stood together for National Anthem and sang it for their motherland.
When Imran Khan announced for the launch of “Tabdeeli Razakar” every single young man present there stood on their feet and started listening to the instructions delivered by Imran Khan.
When Jalsa was about to finish the mood of the people was changed altogether and their objective for a Better Pakistan was much visible then before.
